Tentative Schedule

I've been working on vacation planning over the past few days.  There's a lot I want to see and do around the bottom half of Japan and when I've visited before, I've not been able to fit into my schedule.  This time I thought, bugger it, I'm going to do it all and then I don't have to go back.  I've got the money to make it happen this time unlike the last few times when I've actually been living in Tokyo and have had that uncertainty about finances.

It's taken a bit of mucking around to fit things in with rail passes.  Why do they do the passes for consecutive days?  It's annoying and discourages people from stopping at interesting little places along the way.

Anyway, I thought I'd post up my tentative schedule so if anyone has been to these places and tips or suggestions, they can let me know.  Also, if you live en-route and want to meet up for a drink or something, let me know.

18-25 September - Tokyo
26-27 September - Kagoshima
28 September - Matsuyama
29 September - Naoshima (this maybe end up being a day later since everything is shut on Mondays!)
30 September - 1 October - Hagi & Shimonoseki
2 - 7 October - Nagasaki
8-9 October - Osaka
