For someone who hates leaving the house, I sure travel a lot. Lately, I've been making plans for leaving here and going to see some more of the world. I like to plan ahead. I like to book things. When you don't have a regular, steady income, it's good to know that the basics are paid for, just in case.
So, I am covered until September. I don't have a return ticket but I don't think I'll be back to Australia in the latter half of the year.
These are my tentative plans:
June 12-14 -- Melbourne. To catch up with friends and to get my shit organised. Shit being the stuff I have in storage.
June 16-18 -- Kuala Lumpur. I've been to KL airport so many times and figured I should actually get out and see the city for once. But, after reading tourist info, it seems the main things to do are eat and shop. I have no interest in shopping. I want to see fireflies but do not want to see monkeys!
June 19 -- Frankfurt I fly in and sleep there the night.
June 20 - 25 -- Berlin
June 25 - July 25 -- Prague. A whole month of Prague-iness. Maybe with some side trips.
July 25 - Aug 1 -- Vienna.
Aug 1 - Aug 30 -- Geneva
Sept 1 - Sept 9 -- Not a clue! But I have to be in Milan on the 9th. I might go to Rome again. Maybe.
Sept 9 -- Tokyo -- not sure how long. I was thinking 3 months but am also thinking that I could go to Seoul or Busan for a month. It's cheaper. Or maybe Taipei. I've never been to Taipei.
Of course, all my Japan plans hinge on Arashi concert announcements! I will be in Tokyo for my birthday though.
