Can you believe I almost wrote 2015 for the year? I'm so behind the times. This year is going crazy fast, although super long at the same time. Things I did in Jan and Feb seem like years ago. I have a feeling this is going to the best month of the year because Arashi concerts!
Once again, I never left Tokyo.
I went to Shibuya for the Halloween street party, lasted five minutes before the crowds drove me nuts.
Being a movie extra.
Going to see an interesting art installation in Ueno. Big colour changing balls surrounded Shinobazu Pond with everything lit up and atmospheric music. In true Japanese style, the atmospheric music was drowned out by people giving out instructions over megaphones.
Starting my coffee blog - www.katheinated.com - check it out.
Financially, things went well but not as well as I expected.
No major challenges in October. The most difficult thing has been working with Amazon. It's hard when you try to do things in a professional and timely manner but get shitty service in return.
Being totally unproductive. My word count for the month didn't accurately reflect my efforts though because I cut about a quarter of my work in progress. That was torture but has made it a stronger story.

What I Watched/Read This Month:
Again, all the Arashi shows.
Grasshopper - which is the most awesome movie I've seen in ages. All about a wimpy nerd who tries to get revenge because his girlfriend is murdered in an attack on Halloween parties in Shibuya.
Work and Money:
I didn't hit the benchmark I'd set for myself but I came close. I've got another big promo booked for November so that would put me way ahead going into the Christmas season and, after Christmas is usually the best sales season (everyone gets Amazon vouchers for Christmas and wants to use them).
Coming in November 2016:
Arashi concerts. Yah! I'm going to Sapporo next weekend for concerts then in Tokyo the week after. It's going to be epic.
Then work and more work.
I move out of my Aoyama apartment on December 1st but feel like I've only just got here.
What do you have planned for this November?
